" Went for meal with son, daughter in law and grandchildren on Saturday night. Lovely meal. Reasonably priced. Staff friendly and service excellent! "

" Really friendly staff. A large cooked breakfast was also included in the price. The chef came out to check everything was ok and when he saw I hadn't eaten my bacon and sausage he insisted on putting it in a roll and packing it in a box for my partner to eat later (which he was very appreciative of at about lunchtime!). Breakfast was a choice of cereal, fruit juice, tea or coffee with toast. The cooked breakfast was fried, poached or scrambled eggs with black pudding, bacon, sausages, fried mushrooms, beans and I think hash browns. It was lovely. The room was clean, tidy and quite spacious with a good ensuite shower "

" I had a very poor nights sleep here. Room 40 is incredibly hot with the heating switched off and if you open the window you'll be woken regularly by a noisy ventilation fan from next door. Other rooms might be better but I wouldn't recommend room 40 to anyone. "
