" OPTICAL SLOW
Update to my experience with Optical Slow AKA Optical Express, this is by far the worst customer experience I’ve ever encountered nearly 3 weeks in and still no contacts the story changes every time I call yes I call even though they will tell you that they will call you it will never happen. The latest and final straw was today they told me it would be another week possibly more before they come in and proceeded to blame a 3rd party supplier, I told them on the call last Thursday I needed them before I travelling out the country and I was assured they would be in the shop Tuesday at the latest how silly I was I should have realised then that I should have went elsewhere for the product.
Also the attitude on the call from the Livingston staff member was appalling clearly the training of staff and how to talk to customers is very much lacking. So in my experience I would never go near them again I am shocked they still have a business with this lack of care to the customer. If you can’t deliver the product in the time frame don’t lie just be honest you may retain customers

Avoid at all cost you will just waste your time if I could there would be -5 stars "

" Simply awful, repeated promises to phone me back not kept, it's been five weeks since i tried to order some contact lenses but despite taking my money, no lenses have been sent. excuses included "you have an unusual prescription" "the optician signed off the wrong lenses" " the warehouse are out of stock" but never did anyone keep their promise to phone me back and keep me informed. Useless, particularly the manager. "

" Fraud Express....
Avoid this place if you don't want to get cheated. Full of lies, terrible customer services, complete dramas.
Its a bit longer review.. stay with me if you want to konw how they cheat people.
I have been to this place to get my Eye test on appointment. Lady took my eye test and told that I need glasses to handed over me to another women saying to she do the second part of my eye test (later I realised that Eye test is already finished, but the second part of eye test is selling me glasses for premium price). Finally the women sold me the glasses for over £200 and said I will take about 2 weeks to get the lenses made and delivered, they are going to phone me after 2 weeks. They did not even told me what wrong with my vision by this point.
When I come back to the house I searched online for the prices and found that I got cheated with the price. I phoned to the store next morning at 9am when they open the store, I told that guy who answered the phone that I don't want to go with my order and I want to cancel it, the guy said he will stop the order and asked me come to store as soon as possible to get the refund.

Here the drama started...
I went to store 10 min after my phone call.. the guy said that the person who deals with refunds is not in store at the moment, she will phone as soon as she come in to the store. There is no call from the store that day, lady phone next day and said that she cant cancel the order as it is passed to head office. When I asked her why it is not possible to cancel the order before the lenses has been made, she don't have answer. She said she is going to contact the customer services and get me back. I have also contacted customer services directly as I could not trust what she is saying. I told the whole story to customer services, they said they are going to look in to the issue and phone me back.
There is no phone call from either the store or the customer services. I phoned to store again and spoke to the same lady. She said that she thought customer services may have phoned me so that she dont need to phone me. When I said I did not get any all from any one, she said she will phone customer services and get them to call me.. waited for 1 hour, nothing happened ( I dont think she phoned customer services). Phoned to store again asked whats happening , she said same again and received call from customer services 2 min later.

Another drama from Customer services...
Lady on the phone said they can't cancel the order because lenses has already been made. I asked the when the lenses are made, she did not replied with the date & time, but says "lenses are made before you put the cancelation request". Again I asked that is the date & time when the lenses are been made couple of times... she repeated the same answer by making her voice smoother & smoother.. when I asked for the forth time specifically I want the date & time when the lenses are made.. she just hang up the phone.
I phoned them right back asked to speak to the same person as she hang up on me. It looked like she refused to speak as she will need to give time & date and also apolozise for hanging up the phone. Another person took the phone as asked me to wait for a minut as they are pulling the information from the system.. they put me on hold for 10 min, said they made the lenses on next day of my order at 7:20am in the morning (thats a bank holiday) (I think they contacted to sotre in the mean time to find out when I came to the store and asked to cancel order and made up the timing of lenses are done).

I realised that this company cheating the people using the loopholes in trading standards related to the kind of business they are dong. It looks like every one in their staff and customer services knows they are cheating people, but dont bauther about it. All staff and customer services doing their bit perfectly to cheat customers. "
