Visit the Manx Museum 1st and get some history and timelines before visiting Peel Castle, so much more worth the visit if you understand the history. Peel Castle right at the harbor mouth. A challenging walk to access all the castle places. Awesome scenery. Make time to stroll through the Peel town. "

" Great castle with a rich history. We had free entry with our English heritage membership but even if we didn't the £6 entry fee would be worth it. Quite a big place so allow a bit of time for exploring. Dog friendly which is a bonus "

" Lovely set of ruins to scramble about. Only information available was a guild book or a audio guild though. Would have been nice if there were information panels.
Very exposed site so not great in poor weather but on a sunny day it is marvellous. "

Lots of ground to explore and stories to learn once inside, its mainly outdoors and sensible shoes should be worn, it isn't really suitable for prams or wheelchairs you have stairs for entry and rough terrain inside "
