" Terrible experience. Incredibly slow service, the portion was horrendously small when it eventually did arrive. The owner was clearly understaffing with the poor 2 waitresses under a lot of pressure, the taste was pretty good and they did the best they could. Downstairs bar is pretty good but the restaurant badly lacking. Overall terrible value for money, don't bother wasting your money. "

" It's no longer a brewery but still a great place. Very atmospheric. The lunchtime menu is superb - a free drink as well. Had 3 tasty sausages, mash potato and gravy and a pint of bitter for under £9. "
