" Noisy, On a busy main road. Beds small and uncomfortable, small towels for showering and room very basic. Breakfast poor quality. Pub attached, have to weave through the smokers at pub front door to reach door to accommodation which is poorly lite and the entrance needs potholes filled. "

" A comfortable one night stay. We had room 6, which was very spacious and spotless. The food was lovely - a good menu - we had the fish and chips for dinner - rather a large plateful and we felt awful at having to leave so much. And plenty of choice at breakfast too. Staff we met were very pleasant and helpful. Our only 'negative' would be that there is no lift so a bit of a climb to the second floor if you're not as fit as you should be! "

" I arrived on xmas eve and was pleasantly greeted by the young barman who checked us in, we came down for dinner later that night where I had the best steak pie I've ever eaten! Might I add that the hotel phoned and booked us a Christmas meal locally and called back to confirm to make sure we had a Christmas dinner.. I can't thank them enough! Been a tremendous break away. "
