" Just stopped for a drink. Traditional pub/hotel/b&b with a welcoming fire. Gardens looked well tended. Convenient spot on a tour of the south of the island, especially if cycling. "

" I have been going here for lunches and dinners for many years. The food is always fantastic and the staff are always very friendly and professional. I also popped into their velo cafe for the first time which is an excellent respite for any weary legs. "

" Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. We received a warm welcome in our arrival, the room was very clean if maybe a little dated. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good although I would have preferred a slightly larger portion of the venison casserole. Breakfast was well cooked and the breakfast room itself light and airy. I would stay again happily "
