" Portions ok on everything apart from the fish and chips which is filling. Have belhaven on tap which goes down well with any meal. Nice fire there on a cold day. Would I come back ... of course.. Would I get dunk there.. oh yes "

" This place is lovely, we were taken here to celebrate a meal. It's very expensive, about 11-15 pounds per meal I suppose but supremely served, garnished like a king and cooked to perfection! Our starter was a lovely spread of dip which came fast, but our main courses did seem a little slow as it appeared we were the last in the room to get our main meal. Desert came fast, too but as dogs are allowed inside, some of us were distracted ;) I love the ornamental display, every corner is decorated yet it doesn't at all seem overcrowded. I did accidentally knock an object just propped on my side though when cutting food.
I love this place, it's beautiful and the food meets price with quality and quantity, both aesthetically and in taste. Delicious "
