" We visited here as it is the meeting place to go turtle watching. We arrived about 6.30pm. There is a man made wall in the sea to create a lagoon, which is safe to swim in. This is the Atlantic Ocean so the surf is big and rough. There signs everywhere telling visitors not to cross over the barrier the sea is too dangerous.
There is a row of wooden bars where food , drink and ice cream can be bought. There are toilets and showers further up the hill behind the information buildings. "

" Lovely place to relax. There are several local bars and food spots for you to enjoy and if you drive a bit more there is Levera beach where at night turtles come up to sand to lay eggs. It is a lovely location. Oh btw the water is usually rough so i don't advise swimming at this beach. "

" Great place for picnics, barbeques and cook ups or simply liming. Brilliant place to cool off on a hot day.
The only criticism is the fact the showers have no roof. Annoying trying to dry off after your shower while being rained on. "

" great place especially when blue bar brings out the DJ. Although it is a long way for me to drive I will always return to Bathway Beach and Blue Bar run by Caroline and Matthew. "

I have been visiting that beach since childhood. Returned and found very minor changes despite the various hurricanes and other climatic phenomenon. . "
