" Charming hotel and restaurant in the middle of Guernsey. Accommodation is high standard. Food is excellent. Good range of real ales which change when the barrel is empty. It's a busy pub, popular with locals so the barrels empty after a few days! Strongly recommended. "

" We were here for the restaurant. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals, although they were more expensive than other restaurants in the area. The outdoor seating was comfortable, and blankets were provided for those who felt cold, but the tables were slightly too large and impersonal. "

" Booked 4 day break away to celebrate my 60th birthday.originally booked into another hotel but transferred to the fleur du jardin because of building works at first hotel.
We are not disappointed at all.hotel is very good with all staff very friendly and food very good.restaurant is full every night with residents and locals so that must be a good sign.very good choice of menu with all food piping hot and lovely and freshly prepared.
Only draw back is that our room was along side the road and therefore subject to traffic noise.the plus side was that all noise stopped at bedtime but then restarted 6 o'clock in the morning.this was not a problem for us as we are early risers but those wanting a long lie in should seek quieter rooms.
Hotel has lovely outside seating area that was perfect for lunches and evening meals in the sunshine.
Our first night we were entertained by a local morris dancing group.i am not sure if they were booked or just turned up for a dance and a drink but I enjoyed the short demonstration. "

" I've never stayed at the Fleur so I can't comment on the hotel experience, but I do go there for food and drinks fairly frequently and I can't really fault it. In my experience the food has always been good, if nothing out of the ordinary, and the cozy dining area with fireplace is perfect for winter evening drinks. If you can get a table here it makes quite the setting for a romantic evening with your other half. "

" Went for dip and dine but ended up very dissapointed with the experience.we phoned to ask if they can provide food for dairy/gluten free child and they said yes but wen we got there they said they can't as they hadn't had delivery no phone call to say that so ended up with starving two year old and when asked if we Could have an extra baguette answer was that they ran out of that too.also broken tile in the swimming pool which cut my friends leg and her little boys leg.and we asked waiter if he could tell us if pate in the basket was pork or chichen he said that he doesn't know and didn't offer to check that for us.yes so overall very dissapointed afternoon. "

" I had a chicken burger that was completely inedible that I had to send back.
On the plus they replaced it without question and free of charge for a normal burger.
Sweet potato fries were nice though.
What ever you do, don't order the chicken though. "
