" Very middle-of-the-road. Slow service, especially when it's busy at the weekend and no real soul. Does have a convivial buzz about it on a Friday and Saturday night though. "

" Awful. Over priced even before the small portions. £28 for 2 breakfasts and 2 Peronis? Asked for bill breakdown, but the waiter told us he was new and didn't know (so go find out?). He went on to say the Peronis were £5 (so that makes the breakfasts £9). Having taken order (and payment) for vegetarian breakfast we were then told there weren't any veg sausages, so could we have normal? We were offered some money back, which was at least a gesture, but it never came. When the table was being cleared a different member of staff asked how it had been. She apologised and said she'd speak to the chef (my "well done" bacon was the same as the "lightly done" on the other plate so I did not eat it). She also never returned. Yes, we could have pushed further, but we made the decision to leave this review if they did not return at least some of our money.
The place was also not clean; the window sill I was sitting beside had a dusted over glass ring, and the area to the left of me (otherwise out of sight) was filthy. (I took photos.) "
