Returning home i read others reviews! I wish i had read them before!
My reviews always reflect the welcome i recive and are factual rether than an opinion.
The owner failed to answer my questions on arrival and then went off to talk to another guest. She was highly strung and made any conversation impossible with myself and other guests and complained to me about the other guests!.
I paid almost £80 for single bed in annex which is where all rooms are.
Most all bedroom doors open directly onto the guest lounge and breakfast tables! Walls are plasterboard and i could hear every sound of people eating four inches from my bed and the guests yourself though very thin plasterboard!
If you are really unlucky you will get the one up the spiral staircase in the kitchen!
It is not possible to lock on door when you leave room at any time.
TVs did not function as there is no signal. The owner accused me of pressing the wrong button and stopping the set working and !tried to mine by removing aerial cable and blowing on it and
Most rooms have no consistent WiFi connection to the internet.
No form of funtioning heating other than using the hair dryer which is noisy.I slept with extra clothing on as it was so cold .
Kettle and tea bags but only unpalatable bitter ground coffee in the room.
My tiny room had a full length window with view of fence & a footpath for anyone to view into my room.
Totally unsuitable accommodation for anyone with lack of mobility due to location of toilet and paper holder and tiny shower. (See other reviews) One room as mentioned has access in a working kitchen up a vertical hazardus spiral staircase with restricted head room and no wifi connecting to the internet.
All fixtures and fittings are of a high quality, but important functioning facilities, privacy and security are totally lacking with cramped on-suite for a top price b and b that so wrongly claims to be a hotel ! "

" Stayed at this lovely B & B last night in the Pine Tree room. Had the most wonderful meal īn their restaurant. The hand dived scallops were cooked to perfection. Breakfast was great both the continental and the cooked. Leigh the owner could not do enough for us on our first ever visit to Sark. Thanks for a great weekend. "

" I would never recommend anyone to think about having a wedding reception in this lovely garden. My Mother got married in Sark in August and thanks to the owner of this venue the wedding was almost cancelled. They had booked what they thought was a meal for ten people in the garden with no fuss (also accomodation for some of us) however despite asking several times for an invoice, when it did arrive it was going to cost what you would expect to pay for about 80 in a flash hotel!! It was difficult to get hold of the owner and when we did she was often rude and unhelpful. Out of desperation we contacted Sark Tourist Board who couldn't do enough for us and arranged alternative accommodation and we had a beautiful meal at Hathaways that was absolutely devine and the whole change saved my Mum and her partner thousands. "
