WomenNow Ghana is a Non-profit Organization creating better lives for women and girls through advocacy on Menstrual Hygiene Management and provision of menstrual materials and women empowerment through Skills training. The challenges WomenNow Ghana seeks to address are: Quality Education, Absenteeism in Schools, Teenage pregnancy, Poor menstrual hygiene management, Period poverty, School drop-out, poor knowledge of Adolescent Reproductive Health. Poor menstrual hygiene can adversely affect the girl child and cause shame stigmatization, low self esteem, fear, and this may further lead to absenteeism in schools.
