Following the amazing success of our 2016 charity opera gala I have great pleasure in announcing that our second Sotogrande gala “ From Broadway to Hollywood” will take place on Saturday 7th July 2018 at Santa María Polo Club, Sotogrande.
The fight against leukaemia is such a worthwhile cause, every year research improves the survival hopes of children and adults affected by this terrible disease. We are continuing our support for the Jose Carreras Foundation who have worked ...so hard for many years in order to find a way to eradicate this cancer which knows no boundaries and can affect anyone. All funds raised from this event will be donated to the JC Foundation in the name of Arturo Darch who sadly lost his life to leukaemia in 2012.
This event will be a fully staged black tie extravaganza with performances by a group of international singers and a 13 piece orchestra. A programme of wonderful and specially selected songs from favourite musicals will be performed under the stars.

The ‘something borrowed’ should come from someone who has had a long and happy marriage, and blue is meant to symbolise purity, fidelity and love.
The final part of the poem is ‘and a silver sixpence in her shoe’. Traditionally the bride’s father would slip a sixpence coin into his daughter’s left shoe on the way to the altar, to bring luck and wish the happy couple a long and prosperous life together :)
