SAKATA, an original Gibraltar Main Street brand synonymous with Pearls. The Sakata name originates from the first pearl farm we sourced our pearls from in Japan. Founded over 50 years ago by the late Pepe Holliday and still in the family with the same passion for pearls. Sakata specialises in Cultured Pearls including South Sea,Tahitian, Japanese Akoya and Freshwater Pearls. We are proud to be Gibraltar's Pearl Specialists recognised world wide for our quality and range of pearls. Our unique in-store service includes the design and stringing of pearl necklaces and bracelets to our customer's requirements creating exclusive pearl jewellery, while you wait.

We are also specialise in high quality contemporary, classic diamond and gem set jewellery. Certified and uncertified diamonds. Precious and semi- precious stones. Colombian emeralds, burmese rubíes, sapphires and tanzanites.

Our additional services include all types of jewellery repairs. Also a bespoke handmade jewellery design and manufacturing service for that special occasion be it a birthday, engagement, wedding, anniversary, Christmas or Valentines.
