Atlantic Methanol (AMPCO) is located on Bioko Island at Punta Europa near Malabo, the capital city of Equatorial Guinea. AMPCO produces in excess of 1 million metric tons of methanol per year, or just greater than 1 percent of the world market. With its location in the Atlantic Basin and as one of the largest, lowest cost methanol producers, AMPCO is strategically located to supply markets in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
