" A dining experience highlighting that an amazing culinary experience can be had in Malabo with local ingredients and awesome chefs.
The restaurant is divided into two decks, the bar, and a smaller dining area is downstairs and another dining area upstairs. We arrived very early and were lucky to catch the owner who went through the menu with us himself describing the various dishes and the fresh local ingredients used for them. I started with tapas, followed by risotto and grilled jumbo prawns, and ending with Crème Brulee. The tapas were okay, essentially an appetizer of fried chicken, but tender and fried well. The star of the show was the risotto and the Jumbo Prawns. These were fresh from the Gulf of Guinea, grilled to perfection, with succulent meat; head butter and all. The risotto was the perfect complement to the prawns. The Crème Brulee was good, nothing to write home about but the combination of all three dishes completed an exquisite meal to remember in Malabo.
Overall an amazing meal and would love to go back when I am in Malabo again. One thing to note is that residents in Malabo follow the Spanish style of dining; leading to dinner crowds getting into restaurants around 10 pm or later. "

" I haven't had a bad experience here. Food is excellent, wait staff is great, environment is chic and nice and he music is not too loud. Drinks are good. Super clean inside. Some of the best food I've had in Malabo. "
