Besides the very friendly people, good reachability of Vasiliki mountains and ski-resort, I was welcomed by the English speaking Nikos, who offered a great pre-season price for a short weekend. Who loves the quit and the rural, finds a great place to stay in Mxos Hotel and Café in Lavda, snacking is possible, but shopping for products is about 35km away in Grevena. It might be windy around the hotel, but the scenic views are tremendous. "
