Busy, busy out in the garden today. Took me & my girls all day to clear this corner & we started thinning out the overly large yukkas too. The weather has turned fabulous again - back to vests & shorts!!

Was a little bit busy this winter. Completed a very much needed swimming pool re-vamp.

Pool surround areas completely dug out, removed old crumbling pool pipework (installed initially on the cheap by the first guy that built the house!!!), installed quality pipework & proper fittings, reinforcement steel laid throughout, concrete laid, walls built for the new garden areas, 2 antique garden ploughs installed, 2 fancy waterfall features added inside the pool, pool room re pipe...d throughout.

Swimming pool re-shaped to a Grecian style shape, paint & render all removed, skimmers removed, water jets installed, dropped one edge of the pool giving an infinity feel to it, new design for the bottom of the pool in white tile, brand new tiling throughout, marble steps installed at the shallow end, stainless ladder added at the deep end, new marble installed around the edges of the pool. Superior quality tiles laid on all sunbathing areas & platforms. Water tank built & also tiled. The infinity overflow has been built to create another waterfall.

Outstanding meal last night at The Seaside Restaurant just minutes away from the villa. WOW!! Quinoa salad, pastry wrapped feta, pork souvlaki & veg, sea bass with carrot & apple mash & lamb shank! Followed by a selection of yummy desserts which disappeared so quickly, I could not get a photo. Definitely recommended!! Oops! Missed off the beef Stifado.
