Nevertheless, the bar and courtyard themselves are worth a visit - notwithstanding that they are tucked away in the center of town and don't have a particularly interesting view or access to the sea or beachfront. "

" I have been many times at the Aigli staying in my favorite Yellow suite and I enjoyed everything and especially the delicious Greek traditional breakfast made with local products, the large King size four poster canopy beds, the endless wine list and the Cuban atmosphere....Just try it and you won't for sure be disappointed....Thank you Manos and Gabriella for the wonderful stay at your hotel... " This was a big surprise. Tucked away in the small pedestrian alleyways of central Lefkas, the Aigli was a bit hard to find. Our visit was a little pre-season so the doors were not opened and we had to sort around, call the number on the door to get access. That aside, the hotel is truly boutique with a small number of fabulous rooms. Done up stylishly and elegantly in an old stone and wood building. Truly spa-like in the finishings. Great breakfast served in the morning. Very high end bathrooms and electrical finishings. Delightful central garden surrounded by their facilities. We didn't try any of the spa services. Price was good compared to all the big hotels in Lefkas but the experience was much more sophisticated/personal.
We recommend the Aigli Boutique Hotel highly to anyone visiting Lefkas who appreciates something upscale and different than the typical assembly line hotels. "
