" We were looking to rent a car last minute for a few days and as a number of other places did not have any availability we unfortunately ended up at Vlaseros. All they cared about is getting our money and nothing else. The charges for the second driver were additional, which many other companies include in the deal. The extra insurance excess they did not plan to tell us about until I asked the girl selling it to us, to which she responded with a giggle and "oh you know about that".
The "deal" they supposedly gave us was a rip off , we unwittingly accepted at the time given we wanted to drive as soon as possible. They kept asking us to pay cash (for tax evasion reasons, seems to be a common feature) on about 4-5 occasions, even though we agreed to pay by card. At one point the owner tried to pass the bank charge on to us at a discount, which we refused after I proved to them their deal was still a rip off and we would not pay any higher.
After we finally paid for the car they took over an hour to get it to us (despite driving us to our accomodation in it to get our IDs) because of "a serious problem" where the owner and several other staff left for a while. They told us "to go away and have a nice coffee" and later on one of the staff that looked like a crook from a bad movie stopped the girl wanting to help us from calling the owner, saying that she must not call and that we have to wait. The same guy then argued with the girl about whethe the car was diesel or petrol, neither of them had any idea.
The car itself was new and drove well however very dirty, with dust and footmarks all over the seats.
When we came to give the car back we spoke to four different people including the owner, with everyone bouncing us around and telling us to move the car to a different office (which was not agreed when we picked it up) and the guy who eventually took the keys told us to wait while he ate his ice cream and was supposedly helping a bus driver park the tour bus.
Overall they could not care less about customer service, they were all about the money.
Very dissapointing overall, joke of a car hire company. There are plenty of better ones, with transparent charges and costs, that are way more flexible with time and where you leave or pick up the cars. "

" We recently booked 2 tours through Vlaseros Travel and we found them to be excellent to deal with and brilliant value for money. There are lots of tours on offer elsewhere and all were reasonably priced, but, Vlaseros were probably the cheapest and they have luxury coachs, which makes them a cut above the rest. I mentioned, in passing, that I sometimes feel a bit travel sick, so, we were given the front seats, which was great. We dealt with the owner, who was great to deal with, a really nice guy with excellent customer service skills, a real character. Not a patch on our coach driver though, who seemed to be the most well liked and well known guy around Corfu, everyone was beeping and waving to him and shouting good morning, he was a really cool dude! Thanks for making our stay such a memorable one "
