Teacher Oona Giesen started with yoga in 1973, at the age of 8, together with her mother Jeanne Buntinx, who was trained in India by mr Iyengar personally and was one of the first yoga teachers in the Netherlands. Oona has nearly 45 years of yoga experience, is teaching for nearly 30 years and runs her own yoga-school on the Greek island Paros.
Oona is a member of the VYN (Nederlandse Vereniging van Yoga leraren) and of the IYF (International Yoga Federation.)
Classes based on the system of mr B.K.S. Iyengar, but with a softer approach. The yoga studio is located 300 meter from the sea. Small groups ensure that you will get a lot of personal attention and correction. Therefor the classes are suitable for all levels, also beginners and those without yoga experience. If necessary the exercises will be adapted to your personal level. You don't need to bring anything with you; everything needed is in the studio. Classes in English.
program 1 week yoga holidays:
6 mornings for 2.5 hour. Enough time left to enjoy the beautiful island, the sun, the sea and the Greek lifestyle.

NEW YOGA HOTEL: Bring your own yoga group to Aliki Panorama Hotel on the beautiful Greek island Paros.
May 2019 we opened a 'yoga hotel' with a fully equiped yoga shala. Shala for about 15 - 18 people, if you have more people there is a fantastic big terrace to be used. Located quiet, but only 3 minutes walking from the sea, the most beautiful beaches, and fishing village Aliki. 13 rooms/31 beds. If you bring enough people, you as organizer can stay for free. 2020 is filli...ng up, so don't wait to long ;-)
