The Lazy Lizard is a Music Bar/Café located on the Main Road through Perissa, where the famous Taboo Night Club used to be.
We are the new owners – Alison and Andy from England - who have been coming to Santorini for holidays since 2005, where we made many friends over the years. Fed up with living in England and doing boring office jobs, we decided we needed a change of life, so when the opportunity came to own and run the Lazy Lizard Bar, we took the plunge and left everything in England behind (except our English roots!). Our bar will give you a relaxing place to come to during the day before or after you hit the beach or laze around the pool. It is English run with a Greek twist, so as well as offering light breakfasts, refreshing drinks and snacks we also offer some Greek favourites such as stuffed vine leaves, tzatziki and Greek salad.
In the evening, the bar becomes livelier, with a wide range of music to suit all tastes, some theme nights and all round fun! We even have a small dance floor for those of you who after a few drinks might feel the urge to boogie on down!!! We also offer a range of delicious cocktails, including the legendary ‘Creamy Lizard’ which was a firm favourite before we took over the bar. We stock a wide range of alcoholic drinks, including the locally brewed Donkey beers, and we also offer a selection of non-alcoholic beverages such as fresh fruit juices, smoothies, teas and coffees and non-alcoholic cocktails.
We would love to welcome you to our bar where it would be a pleasure to serve you, enjoy some friendly banter and maybe offer you some help and advice on where to go during your holiday from our extensive knowledge of the island.
Why not pop in and relax, swap an old book for a new one, catch up with the English newspapers, sign the ‘Comments Wall’, show us your artistic talents on the ‘Doodle Pad’, take advantage of the free Wifi, off load some unwanted toiletries/sun cream on the ‘Lighten Your Luggage’ shelf before you go home to enable you to buy more Duty Free/souvenirs/presents, or just enjoy sitting watching the world go by, whilst exchanging idle chit-chat with us and other guests.
Why not take a stroll away from the hustle and bustle of the beach front and come and see what we have to offer! We are waiting to meet you!

Hi everyone...just to let you know that if you walk down Main Street from the hotel tourist area there is an interesting part of Perissa which sadly often gets overlooked by many tourists.
Near our bar there is a good beauty salon and an excellent 24 hour bakery....next to us is the only Chinese restaurant in Perissa and opposite us is a juice bar/coffee shop. Also down this end are clothing and gift shops, a very good tatoo parlour, car and bike hire shops, a travel agents,... an excellent handmade sandal shop, a hairdressers and a good mini market. Just a little further up towards the church is a new tourist market and cafe with excellent children's play area. There is also a wonderful pizza/pasta restaurant called Scirocco...several fast food outlets, gift shops and a laundry.
SO....take a walk and visit this vibrant area which was once the bustling centre of Perissa before tourism at the other end of Perissa really took off. There is a lot more to Perissa than the area that the tourist buses drop off and the beach! Enjoy your holidays everyone!!! 😎😘
