" The place needs some love and a lick of paint. It's very busy and the queuing system is a bit haphazard. In the departure lounge where you are a captive audience the refreshment counter literally rip the arse out of it. We paid as much for 3 canned drinks, a sandwich and small pot of pringles than you'd expect to pay for a meal out for two. "

" This airport may be small but very fun for kids that love planes. Me being a kid, I did find it quite scary upon arrival. Loved the planespotting place you can go. 😄 "

" A very small, rather chaotic airport. Skiathos is a lovely island but the airport is a bit of an experience! The runway is very short, so landings come with what can only be likened to an emergency stop, and the facilities inside the building are minimal to say the least. The departure lounge is tiny and overcrowded, has little or no air conditioning, and you'll most likely have to stand. There's a small duty free shop and a cafe, but if you're leaving the island your best bet is to check in, then wait outside the building, perhaps in the taverna opposite, then head back just before your flight is due to leave. Hopefully they'll improve it one day. "
