" Such a cool place. It's like an oasis of serenity in a desert of chaos, regardless of whatever is happening elsewhere this place allows for one to find themselves in the present. The diversity of the people that walk through it's doors is also very impressive, it's like a magnet for people with an affinity for positive energy. I sometimes find myself in awe of the people that have come together to create this space in Antigua. Oh and the smoothies are beyond simple descriptions. They have this smoothie called the mint choco chip that made me wish I had a large teddy bear container that I could fill up with this concoction of goodness and somehow sip on it while I sleep. To clarify, I am not into teddy bears or healthy drinks, that is just the smoothie's deliciousness expressing itself through me. So grateful this place is in Antigua. "

" Shakti has become another home for so many yogis, both new and experienced, in Antigua. The whole studio was made with such thought, intention, and makes yoga accessible for travelers, locals and ex-pats. The owners are some of the most inviting and genuine people you will come across. The space is big, clean and you just feel happy when your there. Not only does it have a beautiful variety for every type of yogi, but the Cafe makes by far the best smoothies and vegan snacks in the city. You feel the love in which every item, smoothie and yoga class is made with. And it's just a fun place to hang out! "

" Shakti Shala is the gentlest of flows with the most soothing voice you can imagine, the one that makes you understand that in the end everything will be okay (Candlelight Flow with Lo) 🌻 + the physically draining flows, the ones where you feel every single muscle in your body's screaming at you and just asking for the end to come (Power Flow with Hanna) 💦
all the way to blackberries, tahini, Himalayan sea salt, bananas, dates, coconut milk and basil 🌿 and a little vegan donut on top.

" A true yoga studio for Antigua, Guatemala and Central America! I can imagine this group leading Yoga Retreats here for the Americas. Shakti Shala has classes for any particular level of intensity I want to practice at on a daily basis, and the teachers/yogis are all warm, welcoming and steeped in their own practice. I really enjoy the spiritual foundation that the studio is grounded in. Many 'yoga' studios simply practice the various 'asanas' or poses without the grounding in the profound reason for them . The Shakti Shala is the opposite of that! Fantastic Studio and highly recommend. "
