UOG Triton Athletics is a large department that includes the UOG Field House, Recreation, Varsity Athletics, Fitness Center and other usages.

The Athletic Arm of the University of Guam. Triton Athletics includes varsity athletics, the Recreation Department, rental of the Field House and the Fitness Center.
Athletics has been an inconsistent function of the University over the year, but now has been given a new focus with the hiring of a full-time athletic director.
The University has had successful athletic programs in the past and now hopes to relaunch that success and build a foundation for future student-athletes to build leadership and team work skills in a college atmosphere.
Plus develop the health and fitness of the campus and local community of the island of Guam.

UOG Female Students can tryout for the varsity women's volleyball team on August 20-21, 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the UOG Calvo Field House.
UOG students must be full-time (12 credits) and have a 2.00 GPA (minimum) to tryout and play for the Tritons if selected.
The team will keep 15 players on it's rooster. The Tritons will play in the Guam Women's College Volleyball League starting September 10th in the UOG Calvo Field House. The league consists of the UOG Tritons, Guam Communit...y College, Pacific Islands University and the UOG Recreation Department Tridents (UOG Club Team).
If students do not qualify for the Tritons or d o not make the team, they may play for the UOG Tridents.

UOG Men's Soccer Signs Ryo Suzuki From FD To Letter of Intent And Partial Tuition Scholarship For 2018-19
The University of Guam Men's Soccer Team signed Ryo Suzuki from Father Duenas Memorial School to a UOG Athletic Letter of Intent and a partial tuition scholarship to play soccer for the Tritons in 2018-19.
...Suzuki, a 5'5" centerback from Father Duenas, was named 2nd Team All-Island in the fall of 2017 and has played in the Stryker Club Organization as well. Ryan was a member of the U14 Guam Boy's National Soccer Team and played for the Mini-Mataos.
The Tritons finished 2017-18 with a 14-5-1 record and finished 3rd in the Guam Football Association's Budweiser Premier League. UOG reached the semi-finals of the GFA Premier League Playoffs and played in the quarter finals of the Jamaican Grill GFA Cup.
UOG begins fall practice in August and will begin play in the GFA Division I League in September or October.
