CNEX具體是一個由兩岸三地熱愛中華文化的專業人士組成的非營利組織，致力開發及推廣全球華人的紀實文藝。

CNEX顧問團成員包括北京電影學院資深教授司徒兆敦、著名學者戴錦華、導演田壯壯、許鞍華、張艾嘉、王水泊、徐小明及作家鍾阿城等等。

CNEX每年選定一個年度主題，向全球華人社會征集紀錄片提案，通過專家甄選出10部紀錄片並給予資助，把完成影片送往各國際影展及出版發行，所得與導演分享並投入來年運營，在兩岸三地舉辦推廣活動，如紀錄片影展、校園巡展及講座等，吸引更多人觀看及拍攝紀錄片，促進紀實文藝產業的可持續發展。

CNEX，「Chinese Next」，意即「華人新世代」。
CNEX，發音是「See Next」，代表「看見未來」。

CNEX is…

CNEX is the short form of “Chinese Next”and “See Next". It is a non-profit foundation devoted to the production and promotion of documentaries related to the Chinese people It is founded by a group of professionals, from Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, who are passionate about Chinese culture.

Core Activities

Every year, based ona chosen theme relevant to the contemporary Chinese people, CNEX will call for Chinese filmmakers to hand in the proposals of their production.
Among the proposals, our judges will choose 10 to give financial support
The film will be distributed and released to the international film festival (the income will be given to the directors and the foundation for the next year transaction.
Organizing film festivals, campus screenings and workshops over the Great of China, in order to attract more people to watch and make documentaries.
