" A nice place to walk around. Take the chance to introduce old HK to my friend. I also learn more. Everything changing fast. If you don’t preserve it, then it will disappear very soon. "

" This place is a good example that show people how the society, environment and development live together. The local people who are used to live in wanchai raise the idea to reserve this historical building with reconstruction. Now this is not only a residential area but also a recreational rest area. There are some local exhibitions , shops and park inside the building. "

" After touring the House and the surrounding areas, I felt like time travel, naustaugic, happy and bitter sweet... It really took me back in time, bits and pieces of vague childhood memories have flashed back right away.

Since I grew up and worked in several countries and have moved back to Hong Kong on and off for decades, some of those early memories were kind of all mixed up in time.

It's good that they have managed to preserve some old buildings and small historic temples for the generations to learn about their history. I saw a small group of primary school students lead by their teacher on an interesting lesson, much better than doing in inside the classrooms. "

" Interesting place for exploring old HK. Artist turn the buildings into a practical lodging for those who need a place to stay, yet offer a artistic element for old time HK character for time and space travelling. "

" Old building with access by wooden staircase only. Built more than 50 years ago or pre- 2nd World War. There is no sewage exhaust and such to be carry away by sanitary dept of government. The building and adjoining buildings are now rejuvenated and renovated. "

" Heard that the Blue House is the oldest residence building in Hong Kong. Now this 4-story building is like a living fossil, I guess. However, people still live in the building, and so, I think, it is not so convenient to see. Anyway, it is not a tourist site but a historic building merely. "

" It's called blue house because it's painted in blue. It's a historic building and you might enjoy visiting there if you love learning the history of Hong Kong. "

" Visited this blue house. The exhibition at the lower floor has already moved out. Now there is a Chinese medical hall. Not much to appreciate except some history behind the blue house. "

" The Blue House, built in the 1920s, and its neighbours Yellow House and Orange House, make up a heritage cluster known as 'Viva Blue House' (We 嘩藍屋). The star of the lot, Blue House is a graceful four-storey tenement building featuring cast-iron Spanish balconies reminiscent of New Orleans. It is being restored and will reopen around mid-2017 with a dessert shop, a renovated osteopathy clinic, and toilets for its dozen residents. During its closure, House of Stories will relocate to Yellow House. "

" A lovely cantilevered-balcony type sbophouses with interesting histories. Being the former site of Wah To Temple, after it was redeveloped into the Blue House residential bldg the temple continue to operate at the GF of No. 72, later bcame the Chinese clinic ran by descendents of Lam Sai Wing, apostle of Master Wong Fei Hung in the 1950s "

" It is one of those old buildings which they tried to keep and rejuvenate. It is not very grand in design but just one of the more unusual building in Hong Kong. Read up on it before you visit so as to appreciate it more. It looks like a work progress situation. There are other old building around this area like to old Wan Chai post office. "
