It is comparatively less attractive than the Stanley Main Street now. "

" Beautiful night market to walk around. Very tranquil and shows a more "slow" side of Hong Kong. Excellent date location! Lots of Western styled shopping, but don't be afraid to try some of the local products and items as well! A photography's paradise at different times of the day. "

The promenade has western fare that'd make for a nice place to have dinner and drinks.
Stanley markets can be found exploring beyond the promenade, on the opposite side to Stanley plaza. There are new stores on the waterfront, but you'll have to go behind the hard soccer pitch to find the original markets. "

" Great atmosphere, Stanley Plaza's open design lets in a lot of light. The restaurants serves good quality food for very low price. Take a Chinese restaurant called Chung chai for example. Also there are many varieties of shops from unique gadgets to major clothing brands. "

" Clash of quaint & modern. After walking past a lane of tourisy retail shops the path opens up to a plethora of eateries and shops situated in old & original buildings. At the end of the promenade the Stanley Plaza stands. One will find modern shops of different mix and of course modern restaurants & fast food shops. You can enjoy an early evening of browsing the retail shops and end the night with a dinner in restaurant of choice. "

" Love terrace is cool for couples. The plaza had neat shops and has helpful staff. Area has become increasingly commercia though... especially the Murray House. ..an H&M...seriously? ! "

" The renovations have made this area much more vibrant and attractive. It can be crowded with tourists at peak times during the weekend but otherwise, it is a nice place to grab a meal, window shop, and enjoy the outdoors. "
