" This is a pretty old cinema, without big or comfortable chair, sound system is ok but not great. However, I still enjoy to see movie there occasionally.
Why? Firstly it is located in Mongkok, very convenient to go. Secondly, the ticket price is low, only $50 per ticket. Thirdly, this cinema is big with far more seats than other cinema, so basically, you can get your ticket there.
Lastly, it is one of the few old style cinema that left. Take a look at its lobby and numerous seats, you will be amazed. "

" It is very old and bad sound isolation with upstairs. Some of the chairs are broken. But not much people (many seats can choose)and very cheap price. "

" Best deal in town. Was there to watch the new jackie chan movie. Like alot of the reviewers said, the place is ghetto with cracked stair and old fashioned toilet. Don’t expect a comfy seat or new decor. However, each theatre is gigantic. It is so big that you can have your own row in the afternoon showing. Service is there, just don’t expect first class. During weekday afternoon, you can see these old folks basically watch every movie one after another for the price of one as the staff basically let you browse around the whole building. Imagine 3 new movie for the price of 1 which is already cheaper than any conventional cinema. "

" I give a neutral rating, here is why, the good part is it is very clean inside the movie theater. The bad thing is seats are very old and uncomfortable. It is a very old ghetto movie theater. Seats should be upgraded for a better viewing enjoyment. The bathrooms are so old and ghetto. The staircase is so dark and dim. "

" The picture is fine but the sound system is really low. I feel they should increase the volume because it was hard hearing the audio. They also turn on the lights for the first few minutes into the film because ppl cannot find their seats "

" The Dynasty Theatre is one of the oldest and cheapest cinemas in Hong Kong. Their movie selection is limited. Each theatre is gigantic with a very large seating capacity which also limits that quantity of movies they can show at a time. Their movie selection is limited to more local main stream Cantonese movies and some older Hollywood blockbusters. While they don't offer a large selection of movies and their seating is a bit outdated in comparison to other cinemas in the fancier shopping malls, the Dynasty Theatre's grand seating is definitely worth experiencing. Considering how much little space we have in Hong Kong, its definitely a treat to see such an extortionate amount of seating. This theatre is usually empty, making it all the more interesting and pleasant to visit if you're looking for a calm, no frills movie experience. Note the seating and screen resolution aren't as good as the newer cinemas, bring a sweater it gets cold in side. Recommended for getting an old school cinema experience. "
