" Good food (esp. the noodles) at reasonable price. But the restaurant is too small for so many seats. "

" Really good restaurant and one of the best in Yuen Long. Beef noodles is really good. Personally i like their deep fried chicken steak rice, hot milk bubble tea, the sides in brine and the mixed appetizers. "

" A small, popular shop in Yuen Long, we waited approximately 20 minutes for a table for three on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. The restaurant was crowded, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Both options have their merits and shortcomings - while the latter would save you from the discomfort of arctic chills blowing into your face, you would have to perch on small plastic chairs while trying to avoid servers who do have a tendency to bump into diners as they attempt to consume their bowl of noodles.

We all ordered the dish it is famous for - Taiwanese beef soup noodles.

While the noodles had a great texture and the broth flavourful, it's weakness shone from the star of the dish, the beef. The pieces of meat served were thick slices of beef shank sliced lengthwise, with about half an inch of tendon at each end. Indeed, the chunks of meat had absorbed the flavours and spices of the soup, however they were not braised for long enough, causing the tendons to be chewy and tough. This was disappointing as it took quite a bit of effort to bite and chew through them.

All in all, an average bowl of noodles that doesn't really live up to its hype. For $56 I could have spent it at another noodle joint with better seating and service, and probably score a more satisfying bowl of beef noodles too. The snacks and appetizers weren't cheap either, at $43 a plate. We didn't order any, but looking around at other tables they honestly did not look all too attractive. "

" Very popular place in YL for Taiwan style braised beef noodles (kind of national dish in Taiwan). Chef owner used to work in 5 stars restaurant in Taiwan and had served President Bush, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, so he came with some pedigree. Now his own place the beef noodles soup and many others are extremely popular and quite authentic . Weekend usually a long wait. I had the classic braised beef noodles, very good compared to many I had all over Taiwan. Price reasonable at $56 a bowl.
Service on this visit I had to knock them off one star. Apparently they skipped my order and have my noodles to other patrons first.
Beef noodles are fantastic and beef very tender. "

" Fair taste and very crowded. Bubble tea is very, very sweet. Mince rice is heavy, but good. The beef noodles are alright but not exceptional like my girlfriend 😀 "

" Must try noodles in beef broth (they have two different types of broth). Pig leg is good, better than braise beef, though it's not bad. The best is to order a pig leg noodle in beef broth and order 1 or 2 pieces of braise beef as top up.
Forget about the fried chicken fillet... "

" Tasty food that is authentic enough. They use less MSG than the norm of Hong Kong. Would recommend to people who would like to sample the Taiwan flavor. "

" Had the crispy chicken and beef brisket dishes which were both delicious and great value for money at around HK$50 each.
Was a lovely morning so we sat outside on the plastic stools. "

" My favourite Taiwanese noodle restaurant. Bubble tea is good. Highly recommended. Eggplant is too oily tho. "
