" A long established style eatery to reminisce about our good old days. Only few items are available but done right. Food tastes good but is neither spectacular nor inexpensive. Food seems to be MSG free. Its chilly sauce is quite nice and free to refill. "

" Have been coming to this place since as long as I remember. The food stays very much the same as a mishmash of various southern Chinese styles of soup based vermicelli, pork knuckles, beef meatballs, and fried beef roll. But the bread and butter of Kwan Kee is the chili oil. Despite its name, do not treat it as such; instead, one should use it as salsa in Mexican food: as liberally as possible. This condiment, unique to Kwan Kee, elevates literally all of its menu items to another level. The combination of the food served in Kwan Kee and its chili oil is, truly, the be all end all of "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts". "
