" This is a fascinating cutting edge museum, with the bronze sculpture of a young Greek athlete, found at the sea bottom, in the vicinity of island Losinj...2000 thoursand years old, fascinatingly renovated, exhibited in the conditions as if he were at 45 m depth under the sea level..an accompanying documentar8y film...extraordinary artistic experience, worth visiting! "

" It is difficult to construct a museum around a single art piece, however amazing it may be. But the Apoxyomenos museum is a complete success. Wonderful contemporary interior set into an old palace is filled with the entire compelling story of the Apoxyomenos statue, it's history and recent rediscovery, and the amazing effort put into its restoration. The museum is well worth a visit and the final meeting with the statue is most satisfying. "
