" Took the afternoon Buda walking tour provided by cityrama That is part of the perks of the Budapest card. The tour was Monday aug 7. The young women conducting the tour was terrible. She had no personality, she was hard to understand and she had no real information to impart. She told us where to get a good dessert, what restaurant we could get a discount, etc. when plied with questions such as what the row of flags represented our what the ruins were....she had no idea. The tour is supposed to last approximately two hours. It was just a little over an hour...thank goodness..I would not have been able to take much more of this boring, useless tour. "

" Booked a ticket for the parliament tour trough Cityrama. When we found the girls working for Cityrama everything was really unorganized and chaotic. We recieved the tickets for the tour almost ten minutes after the starting date. Because of that we were not able to join the tour. Because of our flight later that night we were not able to do the tour anymore. Do not book these tickets with Cityrama. You can buy them a lot cheaper through the parliament yourself. I thought the extra bucks where worth knowing for sure that we could do the tour and that time but it turns out you can't rely on this company. "

" Had a terrible experience with Cityrama Budapest. Our tour was ment to pick us up from our hotel at 8.30 and never showed. So we had to ring, and organise another pick up vehicle. Our tour guide was very rude and abrubt. She always hurried us on the tour and at certain points where we were offered to take part. Her english translation was mumbled so we couldn't hear or understand her. Made it very difficult to get an insight into a city we new nothing about. Then the driver got lost 3 times and had to turn around to redirect the bus. This made us late on arriving to our meeting point and therefore missed our horse and carriage ride. To top it off the bus was ment to take us back to our hotel but again dropped us in the middle of the city centre where we were left to walk 25 minutes back to our hotel. The only reason it gets a 1 star was because of the show, no the service! "

" We booked online a 3 hour guided tour in minibus around Budapest in Spanish and we paid 50 € for 2 people. We found ourselves in a big bus with more than 40 spanish and french people. The information given by the guide was quite superficial and her spanish clearly limited. For this kind of guided tour is much better to take a Touristic Bus: more precise informations and possibly to go around during more time. This company should take care of the quality of their service and I think making a guided tour with so many people in 2 languages and without any type of technical helper like a simple speaker is unacceptable. The experience was very disappointing. "

" Used cityrama for a private tour from Budapest to Kozseg, Hungary with a friend to trace his fathers birthplace. Our guide, Gregory, was absolutely fantastic. Not only was he versed in Hungarian history but most accommodating. Without his knowledge and help my friend would not have discovered his families heritage. Gregory felt more like family than a guide. If you need a private tour guide ask for Gregory. Absolutely the best. "
