" A great example of what a defines a spectacular dining experience. Combination of savoury dishes and mesmerizing place. First thing first, the food. The food was great, plenty of choices, great for group eatings. Now the MVP, the view. Breath-taking. The restaurant is located beside a paddy field, which looked spectacular during sunsets. Also the "bale" concept of the whole thing is a cherry on top, gives you that natural vibes to your experience. Bottom line, a well rounded restaurant that is definitely worth considering whenever in Bali. "

We had the jumbo grilled prawns, sweet and sour fish (we requested our sauce to be served separately not over the fish), soto ayam, and prawn nasi goreng.
Halal food :)
The only slight disappointment was the cucumber drink we had. Rather tasteless I must say. Also some of the cats were abit "too friendly".
The restaurant setting itself is rather nice and scenic! "

" Very huge establishment with very big pond. The restaurant has small huts built around the pond that is full of fishes. Nice experience and pleasant surrounding. We ordered sambal matah fried fish, fried calamari, stir fry bean sprouts, 6 grill honey prawn and soto ayam soup. Fish was crispy and calamari was tasty. Prawn was disappointment as it was cold and the flesh stocked to shell. We had fruit juice and large Bintang and Total bill was around Rp500,000. "

" I found the food to be just okay, there were some good dishes like the grilled prawns and fish skewers but overall I think if you are after seafood, places Jimbaran will be better (more expensive however). Nevertheless, this place is certainly good for its atmosphere since you are dining in the middle of a lake and I enjoyed the experience here on a whole. "

" Very good place to take your family to chill - well designed layout, with fish ponds and farm animals that can entertain children for long time. We came after a long temple visiting day and stayed for a hour just drinking juice and beer before we ordered food. No air con, but overlooking rice fields and enjoy the breeze. Don't go there in the 35+ sunny day though.
everything taste good, however food serving is not very big. I needed to order more as our group were still hungry after the first round. Lucky that the place is not busy so food came quick enough.
over all a good place to enjoy with a group of people.
also, They do have sate, but it is not on the menu. You will need to ask the staff. "

" We were recommended this place by the place we stayed. Arriving at the entrance I thought it was a tourist trap. But walking inside I totally changed my mind. This is probably the biggest restaurant I've been to. In the middle of the place they have enormous pond (lake) with berugas built in the water all around. In the water there were thousands of koi and the place provided free food food you could feed them with. Perfect for the young ones.
The food was typically Balinese, arrived really fast (if it takes more than 30 min you get a voucher) and cooked to perfection. Prices were very reasonable. Would recommend this place to anyone going to Ubud. "

" I struggle to understand the hype around this place. The service was below average. The food was nothing amazing. All the prawns still had the shells on and were not properly cleaned. It would be imperative one would think to focus on getting the prawns cooked to perfection especially if this is main focus on the menu. The service did not really tell you that you can buy fish food, they sorta expected everyone would know everything about the place from the internet. Overall not something I would go out of my way to do. "
