This is an endeavour to not only spread knowledge and awareness of "sustainable" building methods, but to bring our work into alignment with Flow that includes all members of our families... Making our work a meditation... including everyone in how we think and act.. working together to have everyone's needs met.

It's also helping local craftsmen to establish a small scale Bamboo School and develop their own business and as this business develops to help us build our village, other local businesses can also be supported. It's a symbiosis we wish to effect.

The bamboo house we are building in Seminyak is to support families with children and adults with special needs especially (but is inclusive of "normals" too ;-)) and is a place to come and stay and have some supported time together or time out - some of both is quite nice and to feel oneself reintegrate with family and community around us.

Bali Street Kids is right next door and we hope to get to know these kids and support staff better and open to them what craft skills our local team can offer and create a relationship (symbiosis again).
