BEDROOM IN THE HOUSE OF A FRENCH-INDONESIAN COUPLE

RESUME :
***** Comfort, room in wooden house, with toilets and washbasin, between Ubud and the sea, on the edge of rice fields, superb sunsets.
Our house is now finished and it is a pleasure to live there for one year more. We have to terminate outdoor (nevertheless already clean) for the end of 2016 that will make it a truly unique house: swimming pool, solarium and Zen garden for meditation facing the ricefields.
During our absences from Bali, we rent the whole house with two rooms. When we are present, we rent the upstairs room with access to all the common areas of the house.
Rates :
Queen-size bed :
per night : 300 000 IDR (20 euros)
per week : 1 500 000 IDR (réduction 30%)
per month : 4 200 000 IDR (réduction 50 %)
Queen-size bed + sofa :
per night : 400 000 IDR (26 euros)
per week : 2 000 000 IDR (réduction 30%)
per month : 5 600 000 IDR (réduction 50 %)
All charges included (water, gas, electricity, internet, television). Payable on booking. Deposit 250 euros for long term.

THE VILLA :
Built entirely of coconut wood on 100 m2.
Upstairs : 30 m2 large bedroom with queen-size bed and sofa (sleeping an extra person or two children) with toilets and washbasin, frige.
On the ground floor: living room covered terrace overlooking the rice fields, table for laptop, dining room kitchen fully fitted and equipped (sink, stove, oven, refrigerator, small appliances, cooking equipment, glassware, crockery and cutlery for 6 people + ...) , private bedroom, bathroom with italian shower, separate toilet, laundry with washing machine.
All furnished and decorated in indonesian-balinese style.
Bed linen, and towels provided.
Wi-Fi throughout the villa and outdoor.
No air conditioning (very good natural ventilation) but many fans. Hot water.
On a plot of two acres fenced.
No pets allowed, sorry.

THE SITUATION :
At Petak, 10 minutes from Gianyar (shops), 20 min from Ubud (cultural and traditional Bali, several supermarkets imports), 1 hour from Denpasar (immigration, several hypermarkets), 1 hour 30 minutes airport (45 km).
Ideal location for visiting Bali in circuit one or more days to the four cardinal points and tourist spots of the island, to enjoy live l`art balinese, to identify and explore for an expatriation.
To see nearby : many temples, sites of Goa Gajah, Gunung Kawi and the big banyan Petak. To refresh: Sources of Tirta Empul and magnificent waterfalls. The best place in Bali for walking a bike through rice fields and traditional villages.

TRANSPORTATION:
Public minibus (random) allow to win Gianyar and Ubud. It is recommended to have a car or scooter (rentals possibilities and taxi close).
Tarmac access road. Car and scooter park.

SECURITY:
No immediate neighbors, tranquility but the villa is not yet completely isolated and balinese neighbors can be requested if needed. The hosts can be reached by email during their absences.

THE HOSTS :
Suri (44 years) is Indonesian, Alain (65 years) is retired French expatriat in Bali. We frequent Bali for five years. We know Indonésia in general and can answer questions you have about the country. Both speak English. Suri also speaks Malayu, Hokkien, tio-ciu and a little beat Mandarin.
