" This is a tiny barbershop run by Mr. Yanto. Mr. Yanto has only one leg. He cuts your hair while on his crutches. And let me tell you that he is a fabulous barber, notwithstanding his physical disability. The haircut I got here is easily as good as, if not better than, any haircut I’ve received at so-called high end salons in, e.g., Tokyo. Yet it only cost 25,000 rupiah. And if you’re lucky, you’ll meet his charismatic brother (who speaks quite good English) and beautiful sister-in-law, who live immediately next door. Bring along a few durian and share with them and you can have a pleasant and unique local experience, as we had. If you’re staying at the Puri Dajuma and you need a haircut, don’t hesitate to visit Boy’s Salon. It’s just a short walk from the hotel. "
