" Kintamani is itself a beautiful and dremy place.From Bali kalingut it take 2-3 hours to reach as per traffic there. You can reach it by two wheeler ( but need to leave early in morning so that you have lot of time to explore there) and by a car too. Its an active volcano and awesome view from road. Too much for exploring the area as its not about one day visit. "

" This is just a time pass place. Not very great. Because, there was a volcano here once upon a time. Now it is a calm and cool place. The volcano is not live any more.
So, you can see the dead volcano from a distance. The mountain, the burnt land with black soil etc can be seen from here.
Also, there is a lake by the side.
The numerous hotels provide food.
As it is not a live volcano, there is not much fun in it.
In my opinion, this place can be avoided.
Better visit Agung, if possible. "
