" This is a good hotel in an excellent location. This is a 3+ hotel so don't expect a 5* or you will be disappointed. Does require some updating and clean-up of the grounds but rooms are clean and staff is excellent. Rooftop was closed during our stay which was disappointing as view would have been excellent (of beach and sunsets). Good value for the cost. "

" I'm hedging in between a 2 and 3 stars. The location was great for Seminyak and the beach is at the back of the resort surrounded by lots of bars and restaurants. It has a lovely pool and swim up bar and the staff at the hotel, restaurant and bar were all very friendly and accommodating. The room itself on the 2nd floor had a very small balcony (only enough room for one chair and standing room). The bathroom was a bit tired and lacked bench space. In 8 nights we managed to receive only 3 hot morning showers which was disappointing. Management did provide a lovely complimentary 3 course lunch or dinner in their outdoor restaurant for compensation. The bed was very comfortable and although the room was clean, we noticed very tiny ants on the floor and inside the bin. Would stay again at a reduced rate as it seemed a little overpriced. We've stayed at much nicer resorts at AU$100 per night but both in Seminyak. The location was fantastic. "

" Clean, nice size rooms. Fantastic location right on the beach near bean bag bars. Close to good shopping, restaurants and bars. Circle k and laundry out the front which I would recommend. Pool and swim up bar are nice although swim up bar was a bit small. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dont always believe bad reviews as some people are overly fussy. I couldn't really say anything bad about this hotel. "

" We only stayed 2 nights but enjoyed our time there. Staff were really obliging and helpful. Would stay again. Have great pool and poolside bar and restaurant. Breakfast was included in price and different each day. Menu was eastern & Western varied menu. Best beach access and pool in front of beach area. More Indonesian decor than other modern hotels which we appreciated. A bit quieter at this time of year but we preferred it this way.
If first time in Bali this is a great area close to kuta but not as noisy. "

" This is a smart choice hotel. Really worth the value. I had a gantastic experience with the staff and facilities. It is good to have a swimming pool just next to the beach. I could take some drinks and watch the sunset from there. After check out, they allowed me to continue using the pool until the time I had to go to ghe airport. Before leaving, I took a shower in the hospitality room without no extra charges. I strongly recommend this hotel ti anyone interested in staying in Bali. "

" Very nice traditional hotel. Wonderful staff. Good buffet breakfast. Very deep & refreshing swimming pool (difficult to get 2 chairs) so we went to the beach & hired 2 chairs for only 100,000 IRP each day.
On the beach out front of the hotel is La Plancha our favourite restaurant for food, drinks & service and a great place to watch the sun go down. Palangi Bali is the perfect place to relax. "

" Stayed here for 16 days and loved every day there! The staff were amazing, seriously the best people!
During our stay we had the buffet breakfast everyday, it was quite good.
We ate at the restaurant here a few times after a long day and each meal was good but you might find something better along the beach.
Room serivce is nice and quick and very polite when they come to your door.
There are only a few downfalls for Pelangi:
1.The Tv's need updating big time, they are coil tvs from the 90s (i know there are better things to do in bali but when you get back to your room after a long day and night; sometimes you just want to watch fast and the furious on tv).
2.The bathroom was ok, it needs a bigger exhaust fan to suck out all of the steam. It could do with some cupboards in the bathroom.
3.No place to hang your bathers to dry.
4. The bed was horribad. Pretty hard and all springs.
The aircon in the room 10/10 great always worked and the little bar fridge was great (big enough to pop a 2L water in).
The pool was great! Chilled in the sun all morning after breaky then went for a swim before heading out for the day.
I would recommend Pelangi its great for its price! Make sure you tip the staff they are super friendly. "

" I like the location and I love the service. Sure its a 3.5 star hotel but they do a good job. The beach at the rear is a bonus plus the beach front restaurants are a treat. Plenty of shops nearby. A good place for families, but won't appeal to the Rolex crowd. "

" Had a great stay at the Pelangi hotel. The staff were amazing, so friendly welcoming and helpful throughout our whole week stay. The rooms were kept very clean and were of good condition. The pool and pool bar were very clean and of good value.
There were a lot of great restaurants on the beach directly outside of the hotel which was very great for us. The food the hotel provided for us was also of very high standard.
Finally the spa was of a very high standard and I strongly recommend a massage from there.
We had an amazing holiday here for a week - and next time we go back we will definitely be staying at this hotel again! "

" Disappointing breakfast. Had to ask for museli, it was delivered in a bowl, raw oats with a few raisins. Orange cordial instead of juice. An unidentified yoghurt, tasted like banana custard/yoghurt and appeared regularly. Bathroom has little shelf space for own toiletries, towels thin and smallish. Shower over bath. Long time for hot water to arrive. The big plus is the view. A shame management doesn't try harder in above areas to make it a pleasure to stay. "
