Traditional Balinese life continues daily around Pejeng, where Villa Pesantian is situated. Working rice fields surround us, which complements the view from all angles. A subac (stream) meanders below the pool, while across the road there is an ever-flowing furrow of crystal clear water from the rice terraces.

There are many activities to enjoy in the area during your stay. An example of a day’s activities may include a 45 minute walk on paths through rice terrace fields and forests in the early morning to work up an appetite for a hearty breakfast of local fruits and freshly laid eggs, with coffee from just up the road, in Kintamani. Followed by an afternoon browsing Ubud’s artisan shops and galleries, before returning to Pesantian to relax by the pool and decide on the many dinner options available.
