" As the owner said when he gave us a very warm welcome, "this is not an hotel, you are the guest in our house." Puri Taman Sari indeed was really something quite unique. Not an international formula but authentic Balinese family hospitality. Fine local food combined with live music and dancing, a few feet from our table overviewing the rice terraces. This is not for decoration, the land is being taken care of every day from sunrise to dawn by local farmers. The people who dance and serve at the Puri Taman Sari guests also originate from the region surrounding the resort, so we learned. This being the family domain for generations we really felt the authenticity of this place. On the other hand our pool-villa number 20 had everything we looked for and dreamed of, the outside shower a bonus. The view from the pool into the green backdrop stunning. If peace and tranquility is something you you are not afraid of but long for, this is the place under the sun to be. "
