Summer Moon is the newest Villa in a series of 7 houses known as Desa Bulan (or Moon Villas). Completed in January 2013, Summer Moon is the largest house in the enclave We are a 5-10 minute drive (2.5km’s) south of Ubud set on a rice field.

Wake up to sunrise views from the eastern aspect of the Villa and sunset views from the west. This is not a “party house” as we are nestled in the village of Lodtunduh surrounded by rice fields, though the restaurants and bars are only 4 km’s away.

Summer Moon sleeps a maximum of 6 guests in 3 bedrooms separated for privacy. All rooms have ceiling fans and the Balinese alang-alang (thatched roofs) are built to maximize the natural flow of air, capturing beautiful cool breezes.

This Villa has a private pool overlooking the sunset views and there is a larger 14 metre communal pool that includes a shallow "kiddy pool” and sun deck.

Summer Moon has 3 bathrooms, 2 with bathtubs and a double shower. We have a bale with sofas and upstairs a “yoga” terrace" that looks out over the rice field.

This two story Villa captures the views of Mount Agung and the Sunsets from the upstairs bedroom and balcony as well as downstairs on the terrace by the pool.
