" One of the tallest monument where you can see Jakarta from above. There are three places that have different functions, first, below the ground where you can find history of Indonesia from pre historical to the day of Indonesia independence day. Second, the cup, where you can see the historical, proclamation text that kept inside the building. You can see it every hour when it saving mechanism open. Last one is the top. Try to to to the top of the monument and feel the sensation seeing Jakarta from birds eye view. "

" I love to see more deep into the history and see the city view from the top. Not really a luxury stuff but worth to see as the 'heart of the town'. After this place, go to the nearest bus shelter and get a double decker bus full AC to have city tour for FREE! Make sure you bring lots of water and have a good meal before go here cause you need energy to walk around under the sun. Enjoy Jakarta! "

" Very nice tourist spot in the middle of city of Jakarta. Walk distance if you stay at the hotel in central Jakarta. Cheap entrance for visitor, arround five thousand rupiah (view cent only in dollar..not sure). There are many food and drinks shop around the park. Enjoy the warm of Jakarta. "
