" Batagor Riri is probably one of the most popular Batagor joints in Bandung. That being said, I must say that when I visited, my experience was just okay. The price is a bit steep and there isn't a designated place for smokers so there was cigarette exhaust everywhere. The flavor/taste was good but won't come back because I couldn't enjoy eating the food without inhaling smoke. Would recommend to take away than dine-in for sure. Also this particular branch had a durian street ice cream vendor right near the parking lot. Don't miss out on that. "

5 pieces of some kind of fish cake at IDR 75,000 per portion. Each of them has an awful oily taste, very unhealthy as it gives a discomfort sensation as I swallow them.
The service is pretty poor; emphasized on to owner-convenient-orientation than customers satisfaction.
This place is the mother definition of overhyped. Came in because of the crowds. "

" This place is so overrated it hurts. For Rp 13.200 a piece, I expected a delicious meal, but instead it was hardly different than street batagor (and dare I say, worse, given its price range) that I couldn't even finish it. Both the somay and batagor made me queasy. The peanut sauce was just... A pile of salt, that I had to dump a ton of sweet soy sauce and sambal just to make it edible. I'm sorry, but never again. "
