Bees are essential for the production of food, not just honey, but most plants, including crops, which all need to be pollinated and bees are our most diligent and effective pollinators. Bees are in decline due to all the usual suspects; reduction in habitat, increased use of pesticides, and the increased mobility of bee diseases and predators.

We need more bees and a greater diversity of food sources for bees. We need to use less pesticides and we need to make people aware of the importance of bees in in our environment.
