" Pengalaman wisata sejarah di museum tertua di Indonesia, kebetulan pada saat saya kesana tidak perlu bayar biaya masuk, hanya perlu mengisi buku tamu saja. Dan sebelum masuk oleh bapak penjaga diberikan pesan, boleh foto dimanapun asalkan tanpa blitz. Koleksi yang dimiliki museum tersimpan rapi dalam lemari kaca, dan untuk patung-patung, gamelan tertera tulisaan "jangan disentuh". Hanya saja waktu saya kesana bertepatan dengan acara mahasiswa, sehingga agak terganggu dg suara-suara diskusinya. Tapi untuk keseluruhan, museum radya pustaka sangat cocok untuk dijadikan salah satu destinasi wisata di kota solo. "

" This museum is not far from the city, from the entrance we have to write a guest book and we are not in kenai charge a dime, in the room we have been shown video about surakarta and its surroundings, there is a variety of ancient relics we need to know as local and international tourists, we can listen to gending- gending Java from the video, and we are free to photograph there, but we are not allowed to hold the ancient relics, although it is arranged neatly but there is still some dust still stuck around, first time come it was nice, the guard is very friendly "

" It suppose to be a magnificent museum in Surakarta. Multiple artefact, from weapons to remnant of a barrage head are keep and displayed here. Mainly Surakarta Sunanate heritage, the collection are kept in an obsolete building with pathetic maintenance. Nothing wrong with the building but the management is need to be solved. However with that serious condition, it does not reduce its importance to introduced to our kids weekend agenda for their future education. "
