Established on 1 January 1967, referring to the mandate of Ministry of Education and Culture No. 109 / SMA / B / 1967 (School Statistics Number: 3011-3600-3003), under the name of "SMA Baperki," SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak, or SMANTA for short is a respectable school in West Kalimantan. Sir FX Soejiman (1967-1977) was the first school principal.SMANTA is located in WR Supratman No-1, Pontianak City, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. This school provides opportunities for students to concentrate on a specific field in Natural Science, Social Science, and General Academics. They will also be exposed to Sports, Arts, and Design, and Technical-Vocational-Livelihood courses depending on the track they wish to choose.
