" This airport mainly caters for domestic flights within some of Indonesia's prominent cities. Several Indonesia's airlines providers served this airport daily. Getting around to and from the airport, you can either choose a taxi, bus service served by Bus Damri Batam or online e-hailing providers by Grab, Uber or the local Gocar services. As a foreign tourist you should know that online taxi operators are not allowed to pick up their passengers at the airport. You may have to walk a long way outside the airport vicinity to be picked up. It's better you negotiate with the online taxi driver about your intention to be picked up at the airport to avoid unpleasant situations that may happen to you and your driver if other authorised taxi operators knows about it. For drop off to the airport will not be much of an issue as you are being picked up outside the airport vicinity. "

" Not bad and you can buy drink from vending machine or you can buy starbuck at departure area level 2 floor if you arrive to hang nadim from another airport you can buy starbuck to but you must tell the airport guide "

" There are no crowd control. Everybody is just pushing anybody. Even those with child. When entering to the check-in hall and when departuring to the plane. There is starbucks and some very few other snacks shop. The toilet is very clean. "

" not the best airport i visited. the gate number and waiting woom number mostly not matched, so we should walk long. no problem actually for me, but at some time i brought my mother and she must walk long distance from waiting room a7 to gate 2, go outside by stairs, walk again, then enter the plane by stairs again. and she is old. no good. fyi, i live in batam and have to take flight from once 2-3 months to 3-4 times a month, so i have to deal with this every time. ah, and i hate the eco-automatic urinoir. :) "

" To be honest, i didn't get the chance to go around the airport, because once i took off from the plane, i was immediately picked up by a friend; then when i was about to leave back to Jakarta, i just got off from taxi, paid a quick visit to Alfamart, then checked in right away. The airport is quiet (or maybe it's because i took the Monday morning flight). There is no interesting interior design inside the airport, the boarding room is just so-so. Definitely one of the most boring and forgettable airport I have ever visited. "

" Only passengers with ticket can enter the terminal. Mostly domestic flights with one flight to Subang airport in Kuala Lumpur.
Has a Starbucks and Coffee Bean here with prices of a iced Frap from 69k rupiah. Also a Circle K minimart at the end of the secured area with reasonably priced items. "

" Had to take a four hours transit from Padang to Jakarta. I decided to wait in the airport due to my lack of information about Batam. It was pleasant and although it was hectic and crowded, you can enjoy sitting on the floor (because there's no bench left, thanks to several ignorant fellow passengers who put their bag in the bench instead) eating a warm microwaved food. Again, due to the lack of knowledge regarding Batam, I somehow find a lot of stalls selling Singapore and Malaysia's keychains, trinkets and t-shirt in the stores. Oddly enough, most of the snacks they sell are Singaporean and Malaysian snacks, not that I'm complaining. However this make it fairly difficult to me to get an authentic Batam snacks that I could bring home as a gift and it's hard to find a decent souvenirs that could serve as a memento. But perhaps, I was unlucky enough to go inside the wrong stores...
And also, totally love the duty-free area. "
