" We did the 3 day 2 night trek with Hallo with two teenage boys and another woman we didn't know. We had two guides, who were extremely attentive and ensured no one was ever left alone, especially on the brutal day 2, and 5 porters, who also produced amazing food, including artistically carved fruit and excellent curry, nasi goreng, etc.
Hans, the owner, went out of his way to help us before the trek even started, lending me his bike, and going to the pharmacy to get some essentials for me wife. He came to our hotel to chat afterwards and brought me some excellent coffee and a T-shirt.
The trek itself was staggeringly hard (I do Iron Man triathlons) and amazingly beautiful and rewarding. I have nothing but massive respect for the porters who carry extraordinary loads so we can sleep/eat and many thanks to Pen, Freddy and Hans for making it so fun. "
