" No, just no. This is not a nice beach.
It does have a white-ish sand and it does have a sea but it also has a disgusting amount of trash everywhere, stray dogs and children selling bracelets. It however does NOT have a nice vibe, at least good-ish infrastructure or at least OK warung. It is in the middle of nowhere so on top of everything it is rather hard to get to. "

" Located quite far from Lombok Int'l Airport and need about 45 mins driving, but this place is have a good scenery and a little bit quite where you can get relaxed by sunbath in the beach witg drinking a fresh coconut. "

" Mawun beach is located in the southern part of lombok. It is about 2 hours drive from mataram.
The beach is shaped like a horse shoe, covered by hills on both the east and the west side.
The east and west side of the beach is best for doing activities. The middle part of the beach is 'contaminated' by rubbish & plastic bags carried by the waves from indian ocean. "
